For quite some time I have considered just closing my Blog account...not enough time...most of the people I love are around me all the time, they know what is going on in my life...oh yeah, and I haven't posted since last August (yikes).
Well, I have now concluded that I better reintroduce myself to the blogging world as changes are beginning to happen. I will soon have quite a bit more free time and most of my loved ones won't be within a thirty minute drive.
Oklahoma here we come!
At 11:30 this morning the kids and I sent Brayten off to his new job in Guymon, Oklahoma and come May 14th we'll be heading that direction too. CRAZY! We have felt a plethora of emotional oxymorons...obviously bitter-sweet, completely scared yet hesitantly excited, being sure and unsure in the same moment (quite a strange phenomenon).
I am amazed at how comfortable I have become in my life and how uncomfortable and displaced I am beginning to feel with these changes-but I am confident the dust will settle amidst the adventure. I'm sure I will feel better about everything once we figure out some answers to a few questions: Where will we live? Who will be the kids' pediatrician? Who will be my ob/gyn (wait do they have those in Guymon)? Who will be the family doctor? Dentist? Where is the tiny Branch? Will church be incredibly weird when it is us with the Branch President, his family, and the missionaries? Will Tommy be okay with all of this? Do we put the house on the market? What is the weather like? Oh, speaking of weather, tornados? Really? Can I really say good bye to my family? (I'm assuming I can but it will be through much blubbering and may be indecipherable).
Well, I suppose, ready or not here we go and hopefully it goes well...cross your fingers.

Well, you've got a big family behind you guys!!!! Although we hate the thought of you leaving, I am excited for your adventure. And I've never been to OK, so the visit will be exciting! :)
I am sorry to see you guys go - but I know OK will give your little family many great adventures. My niece moved to Stillwater, OK a few years ago and loves it! Keep updating your blog so we know what is happening with ya'll:)
Hello there. I had to laugh when you talked about Walmart. I remember when I lived in London, Kentucky for a year and a half and Walmart was the big shopping spot. However we did have a Kroger and Kmart but Kmart was dead, the closest shopping otherwise was at least 2 hours away. I swear I went to that store every other day and until I moved thee I had been to a Walmart maybe a handful of times. That is also when I turely honed my online shopping skills. Well good luck to your family and enjoy discovering your new surrondings. :)
