Here we are 7 months later...

So the last time I posted something on our blog was seven, yes count them, seven months ago. I am just not very good at this blogging business...

How times have changed in seven months. I survived pregnancy, barely. We have a beautiful baby girl named Madison. Tommy is now three but unfortunately not potty trained. Brayten shaved all of his hair off (some type of mid-life crisis I suppose). As for me...I'm just about the same, enjoying each crazy day as it comes.

We do have a new year fast approaching. I am a person who loves making new year's resolutions, goal and tasks lists. I love to see myself accomplish something I have set out to do. So alas here is goal number one for 2010: attempt to blog a minimum of once a month. We'll see how I do, who knows.

Maui, Hawaii 2009

Last March we had a blast on a trip with friends to Maui, Hawaii. The weather was beautiful, we all got to know each other better than we probably wanted to, and we experienced some serious flight fiascos that still boggles me. However, all in all it was a lot of fun-a good vacation.

Well Brayten and I got a surprise souvenir. Yes we got t-shirts and chocolate covered macadamia nuts, fun memories and great pix, but we got another souvenir we hadn't planned on. A souvenir that for the time being I'm not so sure about, it is a bit debilitating currently...A souvenir that come December we will be able to enjoy for the rest of our lives.

Surprise, we have a little baby on the way courtesy of the Maui, Hawaii. I suppose you never know what a warm, tropical breeze, the spray of the ocean, or a little r and r will do for you. They should probably post some warning signs around the islands...

Miracles Do Happen

I know, I know it's a miracle a real post...

FHE at the Bubble

Last night was a pretty fun night. We had FHE swimming at the Bubble with our friends the Morley's. Tommy actually is beginning to love, love, love the water. He is getting more and more confident each time we go. Last night we put water wings on him and he did great! Tom's favorite thing to do at the Bubble is go down the "big, huge slide" as he calls it. The whole way up the stairs to the slide Tommy grabs Brayten's face and says, "Dad, Dad, super fast!" He loves the slide! Way to go to you too Brayten, to be able to take him down the slide and not drown him, as always I'm very impressed. (Literally I'm impressed, I couldn't do it!)

Actually, as we were walking out of the recreation center Tom said, "Mom, I want to go." I said, "Where do you want to go?" He said, "Swimming," while pointing at the swimming pool. Hmmmm, I suppose five minutes away from the pool is too much. It was a lot of fun!

Goblin Valley

We had a great time in Goblin Valley over Easter weekend. And, of course, Tommy was in heaven being outside for 24 hours a day with some of his cousins. Much to say the least, he loved it, but wasn't so much into the beautiful scenery, hikes, or other activities. He mostly just wanted to ride the 4-wheeler or sit and dig in the dirt.

Here is Tommy hanging out with Uncle Greg. We eventually had to pry his tiny fingers off of the 4-wheeler.

Roadster Trike

Several months ago we were in Costco. We came across a fabulous red trike and thought we would let Tommy try it out. A half hour later, much to Tommy's dismay, we had to pry his tiny fingers off of the rubber handles and continue our shopping amidst a tiny, terrible, temper tantrum.

So we thought we would get the trike for Tommy's birthday. But we decided just last night that the trike won't do Tommy much good in the middle of winter after his birthday. So out came the tools and Tommy was presented a bi-annual birthday present, I know, spoiled.

He absolutely loved it, he even gave his buddy Luke a lift. Unfortunately for us at the end of the day he wouldn't get off of the trike and another tiny, terrible, temper tantrum erupted.
